The grumpy old man pair is glaring at me so if this post ends abruptly, it's because they've managed to convince the receptionist to kick me off.
Anyways, so it seems like it was only yesterday when Andrew Maturi, the Pleaser, and his companions were sitting at the banks of Pest at night. Suddenly, Andrew stood up, pointed over to the shores of Buda, and proclaimed, "Tomorrow, I will build a bridge that will connect the two cities together. And in one fell swoop, I will conquer and combine the two halfs, and the world will know not two towns, but one grand city." And it was sometime around noon, on the next day, Andrew, and his companions rode the metro over from Pest to Buda and climbed the treacherous hills to a cafe, where he declared the two cities as one.
There was much rejoicing and drinking of diet colas.
Remember, as it is often said, that history is written by the winners. You may have not heard this side of the story because Andrew was then defeated in cards that night, which makes him no longer the winner.
